  Manufacturing Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: 

 

  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner

    • Equipment includes metal stamping presses, assembly machines, automated robotic welders, automated and manual resistance welders, riveters, and others

  • Perform all required quality inspections

  • Notify Team/Shift Lead of any machine or process related concerns

  • Set up, test, and adjust manufacturing machinery or equipment, using any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies

Trainees are expected to complete an application and other forms. Trainees will be given a career assessment survey.

Length of Training 

The Manufacturing Technician training is a four-month training held in Virginia. Housing will be available. Trainees can take advantage of transportation to and from the site on weekends.
